AIF 503S1 is a three-phase flicker impedance offering two different impedance values. Zref is used as the flicker impedance as per EN/IEC 61000-3-3 and specified by IEC 60725. Ztest is used for equipment being intended for connection to a public low-voltage distribution system having a service current supply capability of more than 100A specified in EN/IEC 61000-3-11.

Three-phase Flicker Impedance for Measurements up to 32A
AIF 503S1 unifies the required impedance values for two applications. It offers a flicker impedance with the values in accordance with IEC 60725 for flicker measurements as per EN/IEC 61000-3-3. It also includes a second impedance used for flicker measurements on DUTs with a rated current above 16A which are intended to be connected to a public low-voltage distribution system with a service current of more than 100A.
The inductors used are non-saturable air coils and are manually matched to the specified value.
AIF 503S1 is used along with the DPA503 for single phase as well as for three phase measurements. AIF 503S1 is fully remote controlled by dpa.control software. LED indicators on the front panel show the actual mode of use.
Being delivered in a mini rack on wheels there is space to house the DPA503 for best user convenience.
