CWS 500N1 - The single box solution for rf conducted immunity Testing
The CWS 500N1 is the most compact single box test equipment for testing conducted rf immunity as per IEC 61000-4-6 and related standards. Apart from the 1kHz 80% AM signal the CWS 500N1 also generates a 2 Hz 80% AM signal to test medical appliances and a 1 Hz PM signal with 50% duty cycle required to test safety equipment like fire alarms.
Equipped with a 1 GHz current monitor the CWS 500N1 can be used up to 1 GHz by means of an external amplifier.
EM TEST supplies a large range of CDNs, EM clamp and current injection clamps as well as the corresponding calibration accessories. Full compliant levelling can be run from the front panel of the CWS 500N1 storing the results in one of the 5 memories.
Equipped with a 1 GHz current monitor the CWS 500N1 can be used up to 1 GHz by means of an external amplifier.

Conducted rf immunity testing - Easy, fast and reliable
One single box replaces five dedicated items. Hence setting up for testing is much easier and faster, saves space, is much more reliable and you achieve a higher reproducibility of the test results. The CWS 500N1 offers the best benefit-to-cost ratio. Calibration/levelling of the test set-up has never been easier; terminate the DUT port with the calibration adapter, connect this to the 150ohm-to-50ohm matching impedance and lead its output to the Cal Input. Start the calibration routine and you are done in a minute.

Easy to operate
Front panel menu and function keys enable the user to program his test routines quickly and accurately. The cursor allows fast control of all test parameters of the programmed routine, thus test procedures are simplified and confidence is generated that every step is carried out correctly.

icd.control - Makes your CWS 500N1 a complete rf test system
By means of the powerful icd.control remote and documentation software the CWS 500N1 is extended to become a complete rf test system. Offering a library of standard test routines tests can be performed as easy as ever possible. Calibration can be performed in selected frequency ranges, at any desired test level and with a resolution as accurate as 0.1% or with the minimum frequency step width available.
But icd.control would not be an extraordinary tool without its outstanding and unique capability to implement up to four different measuring devices. These measuring instruments can be used for any kind of data acquisition controlling the entire test procedure. DUT monitoring is easier then ever before.
Even most complexe test routine can easily be programmed based on vector-defined test points.

CDN's and Clamps
A wide range of CDNs are available for different types of lines to be tested. If CDNs are not appropriate the use of an EM clamp is suggested. If this should proof to be inadequate a current injection clamp may be used.
